For over 75 years, this team built several businesses on strong values and genuine community connection. In 2019, under Kevin and Patti Curry's leadership, Teddy's Stores was born—carrying forward that collaborative legacy with a bold new mission to give back.

Today, Teddy's Stores operates as a community-focused convenience store chain deeply committed to charitable partnerships and local support. Through ongoing partnerships with Because of the Brave, American Cancer Society, White Sutton Syndrome Foundation, and Dream Ride Experience, Best Buddies, Challenger Baseball Leagues we turn everyday transactions into meaningful community impact. Every visit to Teddy's is an opportunity to fuel up while giving back—because we believe strong communities are built on collaboritive connections and shared purpose.
Teddy's Stores was born with one clear mission: give back to the communities we serve. Mark Dempsey relocated from Ireland and joined the family business, working as the controller of Teddy's Stores.



Kevin and Patti Curry completed the purchased of the Danby family business. Bill Schawbe as joined as Vice President of operations working closley with all of our dealers & customers.

Danby's Gasoline Marketers was created as wholesale fuel distributor and proudly selling Gulf Oil products to our own stations and several dealers in the northeast.



Kevin became co-owner of Danby's Service Stations, deepening his commitment to serving the community. Over the following years, alongside fuel station developments, his focus on non-fuel real estate projects began to grow as well.



Kevin Curry joined our team as a technician and wrecker driver, working 24 hours a day while still in trade school. That journey shape a long career in the gasoline distribution business.

Fred Danby opened Danby's holiday Gulf on East Main Street in Meriden, starting a long tradition of over 60 years with Gulf Oil.



Fred and Frank Danby opened the first Danby's Sunoco on Broad Street in Meriden, building a foundation of quality and care.
